Winning this extra-high-voltage underground power cable contract demonstrated the competitiveness of LS Cable & System and LS BUILDWIN in the highly competitive US market, which requires demanding material properties.
Manufacturing and supplying the longest continuous-length cable in the United States, a 2.2 km cable crossing Newark Bay, demonstrated outstanding quality and reliability.
The project provided an important opportunity to build cooperative and commercial relationships with major US power producers, and business development is ongoing.
